“FULL LIFE: MOVE FROM LIVING TO LOVING YOUR LIFE”
This Life Talks event was visited by our brothers and sisters from other countries. They came here in Almaty to serve the locals who live in the rural part of the country. Since they came to us without there knowing that it was our Life Talks event so we grabbed the opportunity for them to meet our contacts.
The event opened with a fun game prepared by yours truly and everyone enjoyed the game, locals and internationals got something personal closure with each that brought us together and accept our differences.
The game is basically called paper race but since paper will easily breaks so I made the race from used plastic. There were groups of men and women competed with each other. It was a night of laughter.
Part of our program is letting one local to speak to the attendees. So, we let Jandos, one of our contact who has experiences in public speaking.
Based on his experience, he talked about how to learn new languages fast, he is linguistic, and we are looking forward to hear more from him. He has lot to share for he is a young entrepreneur and his travels around the world teaches him lessons in life and prayer of salvation is what we plea to God for him in the end of our every meeting.
Doc Bu was our second speaker who talked about of having a full life, helping everyone of us to understand how to live our lives to the fullest. His speech were grounded from the increasing suicide rate here in Almaty because of success pressure and materialism. Your prayers for our local outreach is highly needed that they will come to know the source and fountain of life – Jesus, who can satisfy every empty heart. We give credit to Yermek who is our faithful interpreter also every event and service.
After his talk we always have our small groups to discuss everyone’s learning and of course selfies is part of final event.
