Pray that this young man and physicist will have an open heart to accept the truth found in Christ alone. September 04, 2020, in the afternoon I had time to meet him and again and by His Grace, were able to share my testimony to him, how God’s love through Jesus Christ changed my life.
After months of not seeing each other again because of quarantine, we had our chance to meet again on a Friday afternoon. Along with my 2-year-old daughter, I met him in the park and had our catch-ups.
We talked about life and during quarantine days, and the plans in the future.
Even before I went to the park to meet him, I prayed that this day I will intentionally share my faith to him, for I do not want to wait for another time which might be to late.
I was praying to God how I can get insert His love and saving grace to this young man. Until he invited some snacks where we went outside the botanical garden and went to buy some burgers. During the time of waiting for our orders while sharing about our future plans, he opened about his search for the meaning and purpose of his life. That time, I know the Lord opened the door for evangelism already.
We went to the other park with our snacks and there continue our talks about life. I asked him about making friends with a Christian like me or with other faith, for he knows that I am a believer. He told me it is fine as long as they do not insist on their beliefs in him. he shared his story of meeting a Hindu friend who invited him to join their religion and saw how they do that. So I asked him how he viewed Christianity. He told me what he knows about it and he even told me how he enjoys watching some films related to angels and demons. This made me more excited to share to him how the God of Creation works and intervenes in the life of men. Though he stands as an atheist he was open to listening to me.
He was eager to listen to how I became involved in the power of darkness and how great is the love of Jesus that saved me from the power of Satan and hell.
I shared with him how I was lost but found again by the Father and even shared the testimony of other people who were changed by the power of Christ’s love. We had a productive meeting from four in the afternoon until nine in the evening. Praying that next time his heart will be open to hear and believe that Jesus is the source of life eternal and not good works.
