“THE POWER OF WORDS”

Fresh from the Philippines ate Winna, a food technologist, shared about the power words and first time to Brick Loft building where we had our first Life Talks event.

The event has two speakers that give way also to one local speaker Ken to talk about life’s perspective. Ken is a licence life coach helping young people in her country to overcome loneliness and pessimism. Ate Winna’s talk and Ken’s talk correlate with each other but of course ate Winna’s speech has spiritual flavor which you wouldn’t hear from Ken for she is still in the processing of introducing relationship with Christ. But Ken is our regular contact that meets with us if she has time and willing to listen and learn about our Jesus.

Before we started with our talks, we had our game and special number. The game was prepared by yours truly and it was called ‘Human Tic-Tac-Toe” and the entertainment was delivered by Natu, one of our contact who has gift in singing.

After the talks we had our small group activities that assessed what they’d got from the speeches. This helps us also to evaluate where they are now in terms of their spirituality.
